The majority of support resources are not specifically designed for teenagers; however, they are still available to teenagers to provide them with support and information.
Whether your loss was recent or happened some time ago, it's okay to ask for help. You can contact any of these organisations to talk to someone who understands, find answers to your questions, or learn about other support that may be available:
Can provide immediate bereavement support to young people. They have trained bereavement specialists you can speak with. You can just call their helpline; no appointments needed.
Offer a free national helpline you can contact, and other various options for support, such as an online live chat and support groups.
Have a midwife run a helpline for those going through baby loss. Also have a Facebook support group and information about wellbeing after miscarriage.
Have a helpline with trained support workers ready to listen and share information. They can also provide support in other languages for free and offer support for BSL users, which you can request on their website.
Provide Memory boxes, support groups and events for raising awareness of baby loss. They also have a support line you can contact to speak with someone. They are not qualified counsellors but are volunteers available to chat with you over the phone, by email, or even face-to-face, and offer compassionate support.
Offers one-to-one support by trained female volunteers who have had similar experiences. Support incorporates Islamic guidance, and they have specialised resources and support groups.
Offer bereavement support for those affected by the sudden death of a baby or young child. They have a dedicated helpline, a befrienders scheme and online communities to help with grief.
They do not have a helpline or email for you to contact about support, but on their website, you can access resources to help support you. You can find counselling options through their website and can request a callback from them if you need further information. They also have support groups and a memorial garden you can get involved with.
